His designs in gold, pure platinum and pure silver have made him a standout in the jewelry industry. We recently sat down with Gurhan to learn more about the man and his jewelry. Where are you from? Turkey.
How did you get started designing jewelry? It was at the age of 40 walking through the Grand bazaar I discovered and was intrigued by the beauty of 24K pure gold and was inspired to design jewelry.
What was the first piece you designed? An Emerald Ring
What inspires your designs? Women, architecture, nature. Everything!
What was your first job? Electronic production in an electronic company.
If you weren’t designing jewelry, what would you be doing? Cutting stones.
